If you're running EarWorks on a computer that doesn't have Microsoft Office installed, you might have noticed that the useful Tools>Spell Check (F7) menu brings up an error.
That's because the Spell Check tool is only included in the regular Microsoft Office installations, and doesn't come with the Access Runtime instance that the EarWorks front-end is built on.
To install the missing Spell Check you can simply install the free SharePoint Designer 2007. After the installation is over, you need to restart EarWorks (if it was open) and then you'll have the Spell Check tool up and running as needed.
